Allison Carter is a psychic who can experience the last few hours of a person's life by just touching them. She literally takes their place and experiences exactly what they did. In "The Laughing Strangler", a friend is murdered and Allison learns who the killer is. But he captures her and she finds herself chained to a table and about to be sliced in half with a sword.
